"Got there in the end"
Overall, I’m glad the issue with our booking was eventually sorted and the complaint team handled it fairly. It was frustrating at first though, because it took a few phone calls before I actually got through to someone who could help. Once the right team picked it up, they kept me updated and got it resolved, so while it wasn’t a perfect experience, I’d still give them 4 stars.

"Cancellation went better than I expected"
I had to cancel our TUI holiday and thought it was going to be a real hassle, but it was actually okay, okay enough. It did take a bit of time to get through, and the refund wasn’t instant or anything, but they kept explaining what was going on and it came back when they said it would. Not perfect, no, but definitely better than I expected.

Overall it was fine, but the communication was a bit hit and miss. A few updates came later than I expected, though when I did reach out, the staff replied and were helpful enough. Weirdly, I remember there was a bright green pen on the counter the whole time I was there, which somehow stuck in my mind more than anything else
"Excursions were a bit up and down"
I booked a couple of excursions through TUI. They were okay, but nothing special. One trip was really well organised. The guide was friendly too. The other one felt rushed. It didn’t really feel worth the money. Pickup times were clear, which helped. I might book with them again. But next time I’d probably check other options first.

"Decent flight, just a bit of waiting around"
Flew with TUI last week and the outbound flight ended up leaving around 45 minutes late. It wasn’t the end of the world, but we were just sitting there for a while without much of an idea what was going on, which isn’t ideal when you’ve already got holiday mode switched on.
The flight back was on time, so credit where it’s due. The staff were pleasant enough and the flight itself was fine, but quicker updates would’ve made the wait feel less annoying. Overall, 3 stars feels fair.

"Special assistance left us feeling completely forgotten"
We booked special assistance ahead of time and were told everything was arranged, so I thought we’d be okay. But once we got to the airport, it felt like nobody had a clue what was going on, and we were just standing there not knowing who to speak to or what was supposed to happen next.
We had to keep asking different members of staff for help, and each time it felt like we were being passed on to someone else without any proper answer. When you already need assistance, being left in the dark like that is really stressful and makes the whole situation feel ten times worse.
It was such a disappointing start to the trip. TUI really need to get this sorted, because special assistance should make things easier, not leave people feeling abandoned and unsure. I wouldn’t feel confident relying on their assistance team again

"Probably wouldn’t pay the extra again"
We booked with TUI because we thought it would make everything simpler, but it didn’t feel worth the money. The hotel was average, the transfers took ages, and all the little extras seemed to add up really quickly. The holiday wasn’t bad, but for what we paid, I expected more. If this trip is anything to go by, you’re better off shopping around instead of assuming the big package deal is the best option

"The app is decent for checking my..."
The app is decent for checking my trip details and payments, but it definitely has issues. It freezes sometimes, and my flight info took way too long to update, which is frustrating when you’re relying on it while traveling. It’s not a terrible app, but these problems shouldn’t just be brushed off. The team needs to take responsibility and get the glitches fixed.

I’m still waiting on my refund, and it feels like it’s taking forever. Based on this experience, it seems like refunds with them can be slow, so I’d be cautious if you ever need your money back quickly.

Trying to book was such a pain. The site kept crashing right when I got to payment, then after I refreshed, the price had gone up. I contacted support and they basically just told me to try again later, like it was my problem to deal with. Ended up wasting my whole evening.

This was such a frustrating experience. The flights got changed twice, the hotel transfer we thought was included just wasn’t there, and every time we spoke to someone at TUI it felt like nobody knew what was going on. The wording when booking made it sound way more straightforward than it actually was, which really annoyed me. What should’ve been a relaxing holiday ended up being stressful from start to finish. I definitely wouldn’t book with them again.

"Honestly, not the holiday we expected?!"
From the very start, the whole holiday just felt disappointing. The hotel really wasn’t what we thought we’d booked, the transfers were all over the place, and getting any help felt like a mission?! I came home feeling more stressed than when I left, which says it all really. I wouldn’t book with TUI again, to be honest.

As someone who’s anxious about travel days, this was the last thing I needed. I waited around for ages for the airport transfer and the bus just never showed up. No clear update, no help, nothing. Really frustrating experience.

The staff at the desk made the whole thing feel way harder than it needed to be. We just had a simple question, but they were really unhelpful and talked to us like we were bothering them. It left a bad impression quickly.

"Price could’ve been clearer upfront"
The booking process was mostly fine, but I was a little surprised when the final price changed at checkout. It wasn’t a huge difference, but I would’ve appreciated seeing the full cost earlier. Overall, I’d say it’s okay, just not as transparent as I’d like.

Booked through TUI i assumed it would be decent before we even got there, and it pretty much was. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, and the bathroom looked fresh too. Towels were swapped most days, which was nice. I did spot a bit of dust in one corner, so I quickly figured the cleaning was good but maybe not super detailed. Nothing that ruined the stay though. Overall, I was happy with it, just would’ve been 5 stars if they’d been a little more thorough.

"Booking on the website was a nightmare"
I tried booking a holiday on tui.co.uk and it wore me down. Every page seemed to take forever to load, and I spent more time waiting than actually choosing anything. The filters kept resetting too, so I'd narrow everything down and then suddenly have to do it all over again.
The checkout was the worst part. It froze a couple of times, and after waiting around hoping it would sort itself out, I ended up having to start again. For such a big travel company, the site feels really clunky and awkward to use. I gave up in the end and booked somewhere else.
